Pumpkin Spice and Everything Nice
Post date: Monday, October 20, 2014
So it's officially fall, well it has been for a bit (although Miami fails to recognize this), and that means there are things to be excited about! Fall is a season of pumpkin spice and everything nice. A time where you can carve pumpkins, dress up, and wrap up the season by expressing gratitude while eating until you "fall" into a food coma. It's the beginning of the magical time we call holiday season, so get pumped because there is a multitude of reasons why you should embrace this season with open arms, and here are a few of mine:

Mini and Mod
Post date: Tuesday, September 23, 2014
I have been saying this for a while and it might have been wishful thinking but, all in all, my wishes were granted. The 60’s are coming back strong (late 60’s to be exact); Spring/Summer 2015 fashion week confirmed it! Shows full of clear evidence of a nod to mod, and honestly I’m jazzed*. The 60’s is one of my favorite decades, and how could it not be, with all of its wonderful aspects; black, whites and pops of color, cat-eye everything, turtle necks, fringe, pastels, mini dresses, and the fashion revolt against the modest styles of the past. The 60’s were a great time in fashion, rebellion against conservative poodle skirts of the 50’s led to the birth of mod and mini.
The Essential Denim Jacket
Post date: Thursday, September 18, 2014
Oh, the essentiality and versatility of a denim jacket; it can be the saving grace of an outfit if chosen correctly. There is absolutely no doubt that a denim jacket is a crucial piece in everyone's closet. Thus, if your wardrobe lacks this key element, count it as incomplete! The denim jacket has been saving outfits since practically the beginning of time and has probably been one of my favorite go-to pieces since the ripe old age of 10.
It's Just Jax
Post date: Monday, September 8, 2014
Hey there! Jax here, well, according to my birth certificate the name’s Jaclyn Arias but since I can tell we are going to be great friends, you can call me Jax. Not Jaclyn, just Jax. I’m a Miami native born and raised but in the near future I plan to move to the Big Apple and take a bite out of the fashion world. But let me tell you, that wasn’t always the plan. I went into college with the intention of studying something math related (because confession time: I’m a huge nerd) that would eventually lead to a stable well-paying job. I know, I know, drastic change but just give me one minute to explain.
